Red shoes, No knickers

A classic

When I wore this outfit yesterday I was sure that I would be talking about the beauty of a gift from a friend.  The lovely K Dog gave me this gorgeous orange checked Luella skirt a couple of weeks ago.  I wasn’t sure when I was going to wear it and whether it would work on me – as it is a little short – but once I got it on, hopped on my bike and spent a whole day comfortable – comfy chic central –  I was hooked.

{gifted h&m shirt and luella skirt, vintage sunnies, m&s wedges}

However, what I realised I wanted to talk about was my shirt.

Last summer I was all about the t {see here} I found that I really loved the sleeveless look and so pretty much chopped up ever t-shirt that I owned.  I loved teaming them with a smart bottom half and a heel {see here and here}

This summer, things have changed and I’m now drawn more towards my shirts.

There’s something a little more pulled together with a shirt and you can never go wrong with a white one…actually you can…..don’t team it with a cardigan, grey skirt and brogues.  School girl central!

I think this summer will consist of many a classic shirt with perhaps an African print skirt, some leather shorts or a high-waisted jean…Can’t wait.
