Red shoes, No knickers

Summer in winter

When it was time to put away my summer beauties and release my winter woolies I couldn’t wait to have something new to look at and was telling the lovely little Ms. De Bruyn about it {remember her?} one morning.  Unlike me, she doesn’t seperate her clothes and will happily wear a summer cotton dress with wooley tights and a cardiganos come late in the year.

I love a print but once I got my winter clothes out I found there was a severe lack of them.

I counted 5 printed dresses that I would wear over the next 6 months but I hadn’t packed this navy one away for some reason and so decided to do like De Bruyn and don a tight and a knit with my cotton, ‘summer’ dress. Apart from being a little cold, I didn’t mind it!  The dark navy colour helped it feel not so summery and I now have a whole host of exciting clothing opportunities ahead of me…Bring it on!!
