Red shoes, No knickers

A little neck decoration

Back in the day I used to love a tie.  I still do from time to time but over the last couple of years I’ve been wanting to wear a bowtie with my shirts.  Having never found any that I really liked {or was willing to pay for!} I kept on at my Uncle Nige to give up a couple of his flamboyant neck pieces.  Come Christmas day a box arrived on my lap full of these little beauties.  Self tie, polka dot, velvet, paisley….I didn’t beat around the bush, I took them all!

{orla kiely coat and bag, gifted blk shirt and bowtie, m&s tights, hobbs wedges, vintage skirt last seen here}

Not wanting to appear too ‘male music teacher from the 80’s’ I decided to mix it up a little with some good old fashioned mixology.  A great print here, some leopard print and glitter there…all the rules were in place.  Remember them here?
